Barbra Streisand: 20,000 People Are Dead Because of Trump
Hollywood star claims president's 'incompetence and lies' has caused thousands of deaths

Far-left Hollywood star Barbra Streisand has launched a vicious attack against President Donald Trump, blaming him for the deaths of over 20,000 Americans amid the coronavirus pandemic.
During an anti-Trump outburst on Twitter Sunday, Streisand claimed that the president is directly responsible for all the people who have died of COVID-19 in the United States.
While accusing Trump of "incompetence and lies," the singer-songwriter managed to work a plug into her rant for her single “Don’t Lie to Me” from her 2018 album Walls.
The accusatory Easter Sunday tweet declared that Trump is “unfit” to lead the country.
I wrote a song called ”Don’t Lie to Me” after Trump was elected, because he was a serial liar. Now, with more than 20,000 people dead because of his incompetence and lies, he's proven that he can’t handle the truth. He’s unfit to lead this nation...especially in a time of crisis

Streisand, who endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016, lashed out at President Trump in her vitriolic tweet by calling him a "serial liar."

“Now, with more than 20,000 people dead because of his incompetence and lies, he’s proven that the can’t handle the truth,” the Oscar-winning actress wrote.
"He’s unfit to lead this nation… especially in a time of crisis."
Walls was song was written as an anti-Trump screed, accusing the president of being incapable of telling the truth, according to Breitbart.
The Grammy-winner has frequently expressed her antipathy for President Trump on social media.
The Hollywood star tweeted a violent photo last year depicting a bloodied President Trump being impaled by the heel of a shoe belonging to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
She tweeted earlier that year that President Trump should be the first “climate denier” to be removed from office.
Streisand recently voiced her support for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, declaring that she “wholeheartedly” endorses his run for the White House.
“I wholeheartedly endorse Joe Biden for President. Trump must be beaten in November before he does more damage to our democracy, environment, for our health and safety and standing in the world,” she wrote in March.

In September, Streisand took aim at the Electoral College, declaring that the voting system, widely seen as the bedrock of the U.S constitution and American democracy, represents an “assault on our democratic principles.”
Streisand made the remarks while speaking to The Washington Post for an article on what the U.S. Constitution represents.
Ms. Streisand, as well as other "progressive" figures such as Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, were asked what the Constitution means to them in 2019.
Far-left pop icon Streisand targetted to the Electoral College, describing it as “antiquated” and advocated replacing it with a system that allows the winner of the popular vote to win the election.
“The 14th Amendment of our Constitution actualized what many of the Founders wanted, promoting equal protection under the law for all Americans,” Streisand said.
“If I could, I would end the antiquated electoral college.
"Twice in the last 20 years, the popular vote winner was denied the presidency.
"This is an assault on our democratic principles, where the dictum should hold true: one person, one vote.”
