Kamla Harris Calls Trump a ‘Drug Pusher’ for Supporting Hydroxychloroquine
Democrat blasts president for touting drug which has been licensed since 1955

Presidential candidate dropout California Sen. Kamala Harris accused President Donald Trump of being a "drug pusher" for supporting the widely-praised malaria drug, hydroxychloroquine.
Trump recently defended his support of the drug declaring, "I’m trying to save lives,” despite backlash from Democrats and media.
Harris blasted Trump for taking part in the coronavirus task force news conferences during an interview with “The View."
“He’s got to stop … We don’t want a drug pusher for president,” Harris said.
"We want somebody who takes that stage and speaks to the crisis in a way that is about bringing relief."
Harris then claimed she had “no idea” why Trump is promoting the drug, which has been licensed since 1955 and has also been touted by numerous medical professionals as a "game-changer."

“But what I do know is this. It is a drug that has been proven to give relief from pain … to people with rheumatoid arthritis, people with lupus, and right now, I’m hearing all over the place, people are hoarding this drug,” she said.
“The president keeps taking the stage and, as opposed to what Dr. [Anthony] Fauci and medical health professionals are telling us, pushing this drug.”
Even Fact-checker Snopes concluded, after a review of the New York Times article that suggested Trump could receive financial gain from the drug, that it was "false."
As NewsThud reported last week, a prominent infectious disease specialist told Laura Ingraham that the combo use of Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin is a game-changer and that he sincerely believes this is the beginning of the end of this pandemic:
“We’ve had; I mentioned 20 intubations, most all of them occurred in the first two days,” Smith said.
“More importantly, no person who has received five days or more of the hydroxychloroquine-azithromycin combination has been intubated."
"The chance of that occurring by chance, according to my sons who did some stats for me, are .000 something," Dr. Smith explained.

As Neon Nettle reported on Wednesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ordered 1 million doses of Hydroxychloroquine, as it prepares for the peak of the coronavirus outbreak.
Florida is expected to reach its apex in terms of cases and deaths from the virus towards the end of April.
“This is something that a physician recommends under supervision,” DeSantis said, WPEC in Palm Beach reported.
