Rosanna Arquette: Trump To Blame For Coronavirus' Deaths in US
Liberal actor takes swipe at president amid pandemic
Liberal actress Rosanna Arquette blasted President Donald Trump for his response to the coronavirus pandemic, blaming him and the GOP for the rising death toll.
The actress took to Twitter on Thursday to post the news that America had surpassed China and Italy in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, which is currently at more than 82,000.
Arquette has frequently attacked Trump on social media for the way his administration has 'handled' the pandemic, blaming the president and the Republican Party for the death toll caused by the virus.
“The United States of America has more cases of coronavirus then [sic] any country in the world,” she tweeted.
“This all could have been avoided had we had a real leader who cared about the American people and not just profit.”
“This will be the Gops legacy. the many deaths of innocent people. shame.”
Arquette's remarks come not long after it was revealed that her “Desperately Seeking Susan” co-star, Mark Blum, died due to complications from the coronavirus.
“I’m sad about this. He was really very kind, was always supportive and funny, a gentle man and a great actor who loved the work,” Arquette told TheWrap.
“I’m so sad for his family and all the people who love him. This is a tragedy on so many levels. Rest in peace and power, Mark Blum.”
Arquette is just one of many Hollywood liberals who is ganging up against Trump for not acting fast enough on the coronavirus pandemic and even seemingly downplaying it in the crucial early days.

Earlier this month, Hollywood liberal celebrities campaigned for Trump to resign.
Liberal Star Trek actor George Takei started the trend on Twitter writing:
“The president needs to resign.”
The Hollywood blue tick brigade then began to repeat his tweets, which was then followed by progressive activists and groups.
But former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson praised Trump following his announcement of guidelines he and the coronavirus task force put together to slow the spread of the pandemic within 15 days.
"The president has done everything he needed to do in this case."
"He’s acted quickly and decisively. He did what he always has done ... he went with his instincts," he added.
Currently, the novel coronavirus has infected more than 542,000 people across the world, with over 24,361 deaths.
