Liberals Attack Pro-Trump Mexican Restaurant Owners, Instantly Regret It
Owners were spotted directly behind the president during Trump rally

Pro-Trump owners of Sammy's Mexican Grill near Tucson, Arizona, faced harassment from liberals after attending President Donald Trump's rally in Phoenix last month.
During Trump's rally, Jorge and Betty were spotted directly behind the president, which prompted vicious attacks on social media, harassing phone calls, threats, and even false negative reviews of their restaurant.
Jorge told KOLD-TV:
"Just yesterday I had a few guys say 'you guys are — you're racists, you're evil, you're the worst of the worst.'"
The Rivas have been staunch Trump supporters since Trump entered politics.
"We have supported the president pretty much from day one," Jorge told KOLD.

"Every single rally he has had in Phoenix, she goes, or I go, or sometimes we both go, this time we decided we both wanted to go.," Jorge added.
"We fell that is very important for every person to say 'this is what I stand for' and in our case we are Republicans we are behind the president."
As their story gained traction online, the couple appeared on "Fox and Friends."
They also posted a video on Facebook last week where they discussed the negative social media posts while sporting Trump hats in an office with “Latinos for Trump" signs.
“I feel that as naturalized United States citizens, we have the right to support President Trump or to support any other candidate that loves this country,” said Mr. Rivas.
“For me, it is very important to support people that have the same values as I do. Just because we are Latinos, it doesn’t mean that we have to think like every other Latino in this country. We are individuals.”

In response to the liberal backlash, Trump supporters have flooded Sammy's Mexican Grill with support online
Even President Donald Trump himself expressed support.
"The food is GREAT at Sammy's Mexican Grill in Phoenix, Arizona. Congratulations to Betty & Jorge Rivas on doing such a wonderful job," Trump said.
"I will try hard to stop by the next time I am in Phoenix. Support Sammy's!" the President added.
"I'm going to drive the 2 hours to Tucson w/ my family just to eat here to show them support," one supporter said.
"I'm going to retweet this repeatedly in hopes that Trump supporters in that area flock to that restaurant and keep them so busy they won't have time to think about the haters!!!" yet another added.
"I just gave them a call and paid $50.00 for food to feed police officers," another said.
"Just saw they give free meals to law enforcement....can't wait to give them my $$!" another Trump supporter stated.
The incident puts another spanner in the works for the Democrats who like to claim Trump is working against minorities.
