AOC Shredded By Conservatives For Citing High School Science Fair as Her Credentials
Ocasio-Cortez’s conservative critics were not impressed with her accomplishments.

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was mocked by Conservatives after she cited her high school science fair as 'credentials' during a Twitter spat with Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz.
Ocasio-Cortez blasted President Donald Trump's decision to name Vice President Mike Pence as the head of the Coronavirus task force, arguing he did not believe in science.
Cruz then asked AOC a series of scientific questions that were at odds with her ideology, which also included a query about Y chromosomes.
As you are speaking as the oracle of science, tell us, what exactly is a Y chromosome? https://t.co/t4XVVzWr3A

Ocasio-Cortez responded by insulting Cruz and citing her resume.
Sen. Cruz, while I understand you judge people’s intelligence by the lowest income they’ve had, I hold awards from MIT Lincoln Lab & others for accomplishments in microbiology.

Secondly, I’m surprised you’re asking about chromosomes given that you don’t even believe in evolution. https://t.co/vOIwJhpl7q

Among the congresswoman's scientific achievements, she listed her high school science fair.
But AOC faced ridicule for her response.
Ocasio-Cortez’s conservative critics were not impressed with her accomplishments.

Listen it objectively owns super hard that she is 30 years old and bragged about interning for Ted Kennedy and winning a prize for her high school science fair project https://t.co/duZufakNOy

She makes it sound like she cured cancer. She came in second in a high school science fair. At age 30, she should probably update her resume. https://t.co/KERyKdT2tR

Apparently @AOC is bragging about winning *Second Place* one time in a *high school* science fair pic.twitter.com/iBrZvj19pJ

Cruz then sarcastically congratulated AOC on her science fair achievement.
Btw, congrats on the science fair. https://t.co/F1hDE4fKkG

Trump, on Friday, accused Democrats and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of trying to create "panic" over the coronavirus to give herself a "political advantage."
Speaking during his coronavirus press conference Wednesday night, President Trump was responding to Speaker Pelosi’s criticisms of him.
Earlier on Wednesday, Pelosi accused the Trump administration of responding “too late” to halt the possible spread of China’s deadly coronavirus in the United States.
“This is shameful,” Pelosi told reporters on Capitol Hill when asked about the administration sending a $2.5 billion supplemental budget request to combat the illness.
“Life, Liberty & Levin” host Mark Levin also blasted Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's criticism of Trump's response to the coronavirus.
"The last people I want playing doctor with me or the American people are Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi," he stated.
