Patricia Arquette Calls on Americans to Attack the US Economy to 'Resist' Trump
Anti-Trump actress calls for 'economic shutdown' to disrupt GDP for a day

Far-left Hollywood actress Patricia Arquette has called on Americans to attack the U.S. economy by triggering an "economic shutdown" in a radical attempt to "resist" President Donald Trump.
The anti-Trump star issued a call-to-action to her Instagram followers, urging them to spread the word about an effort to disrupt America's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), scheduled for March 2.
"March 2 there is an economic shut down [sic] action," Arquette captioned the post last weekend.
"Don't purchase anything on this day."
Arquette added the hashtag #RESIST, an apparent reference to the anti-Trump resistance movement.
The call appears to be an attack on Trump's booming economy - an achievement even some of the president's harshest critics struggle to deny.

Arquette posted images of tweets, which described the shutdown as a way to create a "1-day ripple in the US GDP."
That same Twitter user said in another post: "Our goal is $238.2. billion the equivalent to one day of the US GDP."
It's unclear who that person is but their bio claims "Ret. Federal Reserve Board."
Arquette appeared to see the economic shutdown information after musician David Crosby retweeted that user.
Earlier this year, Arquette described President Trump as a "threat to mankind" and used her Golden Globes acceptance speech to warn about the president.
She was also one of many celebrities to denounce Trump after he ordered a drone strike that killed top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.
Arquette, who won a Golden Globe for best supporting actress in a series, limited series or TV movie, accused Trump of tweeting "out a threat" and then shared her fear of the country's grim future.
Her fears included "young people risking their lives traveling across the world" and parents "not knowing if bombs are going to drop on their kids' heads."
She also told people to vote in the upcoming elections.
Patricia's fellow-liberal Hollywood sister, Rosanna Arquette, has also become outspoken against Presdient Trump.
In March last year, actress Rosanna, of Pulp Fiction fame, said the United States is controlled by a “sick dictatorship” under President Donald Trump.

Rosanna Arquette went on to accuse the Presdient of normalizing everything from mass killings to child abuse.
The Hollywood star claimed she "finds it hard" to wake up in the morning knowing the American government was responsible for such horrors.
“It’s hard to wake up this morning and realize we are living under a sick dictatorship, that we now have a government that has normalized racism rape, mass killings from Guns Pedophilia, homophobia, the destruction of our environment,” she wrote.
“This government has normalized stupidity.”
During another bizarre rant in August, Rosanna Arquette issued an apology for her race, saying that being "born white" gives her a "privilege" that "disgusts" her.
She went to explain that she feels "so much shame" for the color of her own skin.
“I’m sorry I was born white and privileged. It disgusts me. And I feel so much shame,” she said in the now-hidden Twitter post before making her account private and hiding her tweets.
