Trump Shreds Michelle Obama & Hillary Clinton: 'They Loved' Harvey Weinstein
President calls out Democrats for relationship with disgraced Hollywood producer
President Donald Trump called out the Democrats for their close relationships with rapist Harvey Weinstein following his conviction of two sex crimes earlier this week, saying both Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton “loved” the disgraced Hollywood producer.
“I will say the people who liked him were the Democrats," Trump began.
"Michelle Obama loved him — loved him," Trump claimed.
"Hillary Clinton loved him, and he gave tremendous money to the Democrats,” he stated in response to whether Democrats would return the money.
Weinstein was convicted by a New York jury on Monday for raping one woman in 2013 and sexually assaulting another in 2006.
The former producer now faces up to 29 years in prison when he is sentenced.
The case has widely been regarded as the catalyst for the #MeToo movement, which shone a light on sexual abuse in Hollywood and the entertainment industry as a whole.
Last year, #MeToo actress Rose McGowan called out Hillary Clinton over a report that the former Secretary of State's publicist told journalist Ronan Farrow that his probe into Harvey Weinstein's sexual misconduct was "a concern" for the Clintons.
“I knew that Hillary Clinton’s people were protecting the Monster,” McGowan wrote, referring to disgraced Hollywood mogul Weinstein.
“I can’t believe I used to support her," she added.

"I guess predators are her style."
“Hillary Clinton, did you have any concern for your husband’s victims?
"And what about HW victims? No? Didn’t think so,” McGowan wrote.
Trump said it was a "great victory" for women that "sends a very strong message" for the #MeToo movement.
The President added that he knew Weinstein, 67, from New York but that he had never liked him.
“I was never a fan of Harvey Weinstein, as you know,” he said.
“In fact, he said he was going to work hard to defeat me in the election.”
