Old Videos Emerge of AOC Praising Trump, Trashing Hillary Clinton - WATCH
Unearthed footage from 2016-17 shows different side to Democrat Rep. Ocasio-Cortez
Old videos have emerged of celebrity Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) that show a pre-famous AOC heaping praise on then-newly elected President Donald Trump while trashing Hillary Clinton.
The newly-unearthed footage was filmed around 2016-17 and appears to show a different side to the radical Democratic socialist lawmaker before she was elected to Congress.
During one clip, taken from a 2017 live-stream conference call to her fans at Brand New Congress, AOC explains what she admires about President Trump.
During the video call, that lasts over 80 minutes, Ocasio-Cortez says Trump won the race because he was an effective communicator who notably taps into voter frustrations.

“I’d like to say about President Trump is that part I think of what made his communication so effective is because he was capitalizing on the frustration of the American people,” she says.
“Nobody else besides him and Bernie Sanders were really articulating the frustration of the American people.”
Hillary Clinton went unmentioned in that video, but a different clip from 2016 shows AOC trashing the twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate.
Ocasio-Cortez slams Hillary's failed 2016 campaign during a Facebook-live video, seemingly filed as she travels in a car with friends.
AOC offers a brutal assessment of Clinton’s election campaign, saying excuses such as “misogyny” among the electorate were “stupid.”
She goes on yo declare that Hillary only has herself to blame for her historic defeat against Trump.
“I’m not trying to be difficult,” AOC said during a 2016 Facebook live video taken while traveling through the midwest with friends.
"I’m not trying to be down. But she didn’t try hard enough in Michigan.
“She didn’t make a single … visit to the United Auto Workers before the general election.
"And then … they’re like upset that that union workers didn’t organize for her.”
AOC’s fellow traveler, actress Maria Swisher, said, “We needed to win the rust belt and we could have done that and there are places that went for Obama that didn’t go for Hillary so there is a lot of complex things going on here.”
The moment is indicative of the years of bad blood which has existed between Sanders superfans like AOC and establishment Democrats who backed Clinton.
Just last month, the former Secretary of State laced into Sanders in a new documentary saying that “nobody likes him,” adding that she felt bad for people like AOC who “got sucked into” Sanders’ schtick.
She has also warned he is leading the country towards “fascism.”
