Bloomberg Shreds 'Socialist' Bernie Sanders: You’re 'a Millionaire with 3 Houses'
Former New York mayor attacks Sanders during fiery Democrat Debate
Michael Bloomberg shredded "socialist" Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during a fiery Democrat Debate on Wednesday night, slamming the frontrunner for pushing socialism despite being "a millionaire with 3 houses."
Billionaire Bloomberg blasted the hypocrisy of his rival Democratic candidate Sanders during NBC’s presidential debate.
“What a wonderful country we have,” Bloomberg said, managing to cut through the noise of the other Democrat contenders on stage.
“The best known socialist happens to be a millionaire with three houses. What’d I miss here?” he added.
“You’ll miss that I work in Washington,” Sanders snapped.
“That’s the first problem,” Bloomberg fired back.
The exchange started several minutes prior when MSNBC’s Chuck Todd asked Bloomberg, “Mayor Bloomberg, should you exist?”
“I can’t speak for all billionaires, all I know is I’ve been very lucky, made a lot of money and I’m giving it all away to make this country better and a good chunk of it goes to the Democratic Party as well,” Bloomberg said.
“Have you earned too much?” Todd asked.
“Has it been an obscene amount of money? Should you have earned that amount of money?”
“Yes, I worked very hard for it,” Bloomberg responded. “And I’m giving it away.”

Sanders responded by claiming that Bloomberg's workers made the money for him.
“I can’t think of a way that would make it easier for Donald Trump to get re-elected than by listening to this conversation,” Bloomberg responded.
“This is ridiculous. We’re not going to throw out capitalism, we tried that, other countries tried that, it was called communism and it just didn’t work.”
Despite Bloomberg landing a successful blow on Bernie, the former New York mayor spent the evening getting torn apart by the other 2020 Democrats.
The New York Post's Thursday front page lambasts Bloomberg, declaring the multi-billionaire suffered a "brutal beatdown" during the debate.
The Post declared that Bloomberg’s millions in campaign spending flew right out the window Wednesday night.
The billionaire’s self-bankrolled presidential bid was torn to shreds in the opening minutes of Wednesday’s Democratic debate as his opponents skewered him for his checkered past on sexual harassment and his record on stop-and-frisk.
Each candidate on the Las Vegas stage attacked Bloomberg right out the gate.
Former Vice President Joe Biden attacked Bloomberg for “throwing close to 5 million young black men up against a wall” while mayor of New York City and said he only stopped after President Barack Obama intervened in his stop-and-frisk policy.
Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren made the former Big Apple mayor visibly squirm and roll his eyes in frustration.
“I’d like to talk about who we’re running against, a billionaire who calls women ‘fat broads’ and ‘horse-faced lesbians,'” she said from the Paris Theater.
“And, no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump. I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg.”
Bloomberg, who is worth a whopping $62 billion, is dogged by claims of sexual harassment and discrimination.
The former NYC mayor attempted to unconvincingly defend himself but was met with guffaws from the unimpressed audience.
