Chris Mathews: 'We’ll Lose 49 States’ Against Trump if Bernie Wins Nomination
MSNBC host gives a dire warning if Socialist candidate wins

MSNBC host Chris Matthews has claimed that if presidential candidate Bernie Sanders wins the Democratic nomination, the Democrats will lose 49 states to President Donald Trump.
On the subject of fellow candidates not attacking Sanders’ socialist ideology, Mathews said:
“They’re just pandering to the Bernie people, and you know what pandering gets you? Nothing. It certainly doesn’t get you respect.”
“They’ve got to get out there and say I disagree with socialism; I believe in the markets; I think he’s wrong,” Matthew added.
“I think you’ll never get it done and this country will never go that direction, by the way, we’ll lose forty-nine states.”

Many Democrats shared Mathews's notion, suggesting the prospect of Sanders winning the Democratic nomination would massively damage the United States.
Sanders’ radical proposals, which would cost America between $60 trillion to $100 trillion, was blasted by South Carolina Democrat Representative Joe Cunningham.
“South Carolinians don’t want socialism,” Cunningham said.
“We want to know how you are going to get things done and how you are going to pay for them," he said.
Mathews also added earleir in the interview:
“I hope that the candidates who have been telegraphing their punches against Sanders, Senator Sanders, are actually going to deliver them. I mean, I hope they actually do what they promised to do."
"Are they going to go after him about the bad behavior of Bernie supporters or not? Is this how they do things in Denmark? I mean, this is a preview of coming attractions, these people," Mathews added.

"He says he can’t control them, but I think he’s going to be called to account by the other candidates because they seem to have a hesitancy or a fear of going after his ideology, going after his self declared socialism, or even about the do-ability of all the things he says he’s gonna do in a Congress that’s split right now.”
The former CEO of Goldman Sachs and “registered Democrat” Lloyd Blankfein argued Sanders would destroy America’s economy, adding that he could be used by Russia to destroy America.
“If Dems go on to nominate Sanders, the Russians will have to reconsider who to work for to best screw up the US. Sanders is just as polarizing as Trump, AND he’ll ruin our economy and doesn’t care about our military,” Blankfein said.
“If I’m Russian, I go with Sanders this time around.”
Earlier this month, Sanders claimed it was “beginning of the end for Donald Trump" During a speech in the Des Moines bar where Sander's campaign was hosting a Super Bowl watch party.
“I really have been impressed about how serious the people of this state are examining the issues and listening to the candidates,” Sanders said.
