George Soros: Facebook is Working to Re-Elect 'Con Man' Trump
Liberal billionaire attacks the president during speech at the World Economic Forum, Davos

Liberal billionaire George Soros has attacked Donald Trump, blasting him as "a con man and a narcissist" while accusing Facebook of working with the US president to help re-elect him in November.
Globalist Soros made the remarks during a Thursday speech before the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The left-wing financier slammed social media giant Facebook, saying the company is working to reelect President Trump in return for presidential protection.
Calling out what he characterized as a mutually beneficial relationship, Soros suggested Mark Zuckerberg's company is helping Trump in return for the president's "work to protect Facebook."
“Facebook will work to re-elect Trump and Trump will protect Facebook,” the Hungarian-born U.S. investor said, according to Politico.
“It makes me very concerned about the outcome of 2020.”

A Facebook company spokesman responded to Politico, saying "This is just plain wrong."
On Jan. 9, Facebook announced that it would continue to let politicians run advertisements and would not police the truthfulness of the messages posted.
"Ultimately, we don’t think decisions about political ads should be made by private companies," Rob Leathern, Facebook's director of product management, said at the time.
"In the absence of regulation, Facebook and other companies are left to design their own policies," Leathern added.
"We have based ours on the principle that people should be able to hear from those who wish to lead them, warts and all, and that what they say should be scrutinized and debated in public."
Soros' speech was made at a dinner hosted by the Open Society Foundations, an international grantmaking network founded by the billionaire.
During the speech, he also criticized certain world leaders -- including Trump, China's Xi Jinping, India's Narendra Modi, Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro and Hungary's Viktor Orbán, according to Politico.

On the sidelines of Davos, while announcing that he’s injecting $1 billion into a new university network globally during a speech, Soros criticized Trump as a “con man” and the “ultimate narcissist.”
Soros said Trump “is a con man and a narcissist, who wants the world to revolve around him.”
“When his fantasy of becoming president became a reality,” that narcissism metastasized, Soros said.
“This has turned his narcissism into a malignant disease.”
He added the 2020 election in November will determine the “fate of the world.”
