Neon Nettle is an independent news site where readers from all over the globe can get a fix on what is really going on in the world without the mainstream narrative filtering out all the important information. We publish original content from a wide range including alternative news, health, exopolitics, music, fashion and opinion pieces. Neon Nettle is the first of it kind which bridges the gap with alternative uncensored news with Music, Fashion And Entertainment. The Truth Is Not Boring.
We welcome all new contributions - if you would like to write for NN here is what you need to know:
Guidelines
- Content: Neon Nettle focuses on posting original content and refrains from re posting other articles. We encourage writers to create their own spins and generally do not accept duplicate posts which have appeared on other publications.
- What we like: We look from everything from news stories, alternative news, health, music news, fashion and insightful opinionated pieces on current topics. We always like to give both sides of the argument and remain neutral tone at all times and let our readers decide and make their ow mind up. Word count should be between 300 - 1500 words.
- Submitting: Please send your submissions by email, make sure the submission isn't in an attached word document but pasted into the body of the email, this makes it easier for us to extract and proof read.
- Pitching ideas: Always feel free to pitch us an idea before sending if you are not sure: You can do this by emailing [email protected] - we can either advise or throw in some more ideas to make it right for NN.
- Please submit articles in the body of email and send to [email protected]
- All submissions must include main title and sub title which consist of 70 characters each
- Images: All images should be attached with credit to original sources if you do not have the image rights.
Accepting Submissions
As we already have core team here at Neon Nettle, we cannot compensate contributors for new submissions. We are, however always looking for new writers and if we already have catalogue of your own work on the site this will obviously make you a more favourable candidate. We are also happy to link back your blog, website or anything that connects to your work.
Social Media
If your submission is accepted and published, please feel free to post on your your social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc. This will create more visibility for your work and give it a better chance of going viral, hence creating more of an interest and focus on your work.
