NEVER FORGET: ABC News Killed the Jeffery Epstein Story in 2016
'We were so afraid'

As the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell dominates the headlines of most mainstream media outlets, it is important to remember that in 2016, ABC News killed the Jeffrey Epstein story despite having all the details on what was to become the biggest sex trafficking scandal of the century.
One of Epstein's victims, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, came forward to ABC News in 2016 with allegations.
Roberts was interviewed by anchor Amy Robach in 2016.
After the news broke about Epstein's sex trafficking allegations, Robach was caught on camera admitting she had the explosive story for three years, but ABC refused to release the interview because they were scared of the backlash from the British Royal family.

Robach said the Palace allegedly "threatened" ABC News in "a million different ways" after discovering they had allegations over Prince Andrew.
"We were so afraid we wouldn't be able to interview Kate and Will that we, that also quashed the story," said Robach.
"First I was told, who is Jeffrey Epstein? No one knows who that is."
"This is a stupid story," Robach also says in the footage.
"She was in hiding for 12 years, we convinced her to come out," Robach said of victim Victoria Giuffre.
"Brad Edwards (Giuffre's lawyer), the attorney, three years ago saying like, like we, there will come a day when we realize Jeffrey Epstein was the most prolific pedophile this country has ever known," Robach continued.
"(Giuffre) had pictures, she had everything."

Robachach also believes Epstein did not kill himself but was murdered.
"So do I think he was killed? A 100 percent, yes I do. …He made his whole living blackmailing people."
"There were a lot of men in those planes, a lot of men who visited that island, lot of powerful men who came into that apartment."
Project Veritas first released the footage of Robach in August 2019.

Five years later, news came out that Epstein gave Prince Andrew underage girls to rape so he could use the information to later "blackmail" the British royal.
As Neon Nettle reported at the time:
Giuffre said she was trafficked to Andrew for rape when she was underage and given instructions to gather incriminating evidence on the prince.
Billionaire Epstein trafficked underage girls to the prince as well as other powerful and well-connected figures.
She alleges she was raped by the duke on three separate occasions - in Ghislaine Maxwell's apartment in London, in New York, and on Epstein's private "Pedophile Island" in the US Virgin Islands
