FLASHBACK: James Comey Bragged About Violating FBI Policy to Frame General Flynn
'Meticulously planned-out scheme to snare Flynn'

The FBI files regarding the plot to frame former national security advisor Michael Flynn were a “meticulously planned-out scheme to try to get a 33-year combat veteran of the United States to say something that was inaccurate so that they would have a basis to try to charge him with false statements or otherwise get him fired,” former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy at the time.
And former FBI Director James Comey even admitted it.
During an interview on MSNBC with Nicole Wallace in 2018, Comey said he sent FBI agents in to the room where Flynn was being interviewed.
Comey admitted it was “something we, I probably wouldn’t have done or gotten away within a more organized investigation — a more organized administration.”

According to McCarthy:
“[i]f General Flynn was a gangbanger or mafia guy, they would have sat down with them, they would have told them this is a criminal investigation, they would have identified themselves as FBI agents, told him the reason for the interview, told him he had a right not to answer questions, and told him he made false statements, that that could be grounds for prosecution.
"They would do all of those things for criminals.”

In April, Flynn's lawyers said they had undisclosed evidence proving Flynn was “deliberately set up and framed by corrupt agents at the top of the FBI" according to supplemental court documents filed at the time.

The supplemental filing read:
“This afternoon, the government produced to Mr. Flynn stunning Brady evidence that proves Mr. Flynn’s allegations of having been deliberately set up and framed by corrupt agents at the top of the FBI."
“It also defeats any argument that the interview of Mr. Flynn on January 24, 2017, was material to any ‘investigation.’"
"The government has deliberately suppressed this evidence from the inception of this prosecution—knowing there was no crime by Mr. Flynn.”
As Neon Nettle reported last October, Flynn's lawyer revealed evidence that James Comey's FBI "ambushed" him and later "celebrated" stitching him up.
