Unhinged supporters of Congresswoman Maxine Waters go crazy

Unhinged supporters of Congresswoman Maxine Waters have set fire to the American flag outside the Democratic firebrand's Los Angeles office on Thursday, as they planned mass anti-Trump riots and confrontations with a militia group.

A few dozen Waters followers made an appearance after she said "the people" wanted the "Democrats to be more forceful" and “more confrontational."

The unhinged Democrat said:

“Well, let me just tell you this, first of all, the people of this country, no matter Republican or Democrat, do not like the idea that children have been separated. Republicans are making a mistake thinking they can hold on to that constituency, that so-called belongs to Donald Trump. On this issue, Republicans and Democrats, Independents alike are opposed to what is going on. And yes, people do want to see us being stronger and more forceful and to confront them on these policies.”

South Los Angeles residents joined the demonstration outside the field office which involved the crowd stomping on an American flag and then burning it.

The Waters followers chanted: 'This is not the American flag, this is their flag.'

According to The DM: The group had been shouting a slew of other slogans such as 'black power' and 'Resist!'

Signs read things such as: 'Don't mess with our Queen Maxine,' 'We support you Maxine our congresswoman', as well as 'Trump/Pence, must go!' and 'Deport Trump.'

The Los Angeles Police Department said there were no injuries and no arrests from the demonstration.

The Oath Keepers call themselves the Guardians of the Republic despite them being labeled 'one of the largest radical anti-government groups in the U.S. today' by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The far-right militia group had issued a call to action to their followers to protest the Democratic lawmaker.

'This is both a protest against Maxine Waters' incitement of terrorism, and a stand FOR ICE and the Border Patrol, as they enforce the perfectly constitutional immigration and naturalization laws of this nation,' the group said in a statement.

The group claims 35,000 members who often dress in military gear and carry military-grade rifles at protests across the country.

Waters had asked her supporters not to engage with them.

'I am requesting those individuals and groups planning a counter-protest to not be baited into confronting the Oath Keepers with any demonstrations in opposition -such an occurrence would only exacerbate tensions and increase the potential for conflict,' she said in a statement.

'The Oath Keepers have a history of engaging in violent and provocative behavior,' she added.

While the lawmaker noted the Los Angeles Police Department would have officers on hand to ensure people's safety, police have not said whether any sort of investigation is underway.

The far-right group said their protests could go on for weeks.

'This is the launch of an ongoing protest that may go on for several weeks. Other patriotic groups are welcome to join us,' their statement read further.

The Oath Keepers are protesting Waters' encouragement to the public to harass members of the Trump administration when they see them.

'If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere,' Waters said in June.

She is also a harsh critic of President Donald Trump's 'zero tolerance' immigration policy - which had resulted in children and families being separated at the border.

Oath Keepers had a visible presence in Ferguson, Missouri during the 2014 and 2015 unrest in the city - when members armed with semi-automatic rifles patrolled the streets.

Soon after the February Stoneman Douglas High School mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, Oath Keepers controversial founder Elmer Rhoades called upon tens of thousands of the group's members to form militias to protect U.S. schools.
